About McTimoney Chiropractic
McTimoney Chiropractic is a low force chiropractic technique, which uses gentle, fast, light adjustments. We work to realign the bones and joints of the body, with particular emphasis on the joints of the spine and pelvis.
McTimoney is a precise and gentle treatment. No large twisting manoeuvres are used and this technique avoids any sharp turning of the neck. Here at Tillow Barn, we often incorporate soft tissue techniques into our chiropractic treatment sessions. Chiropractic has been proven in clinical trials to be effective in relieving low back pain, and can also relieve the pain of upper back and neck problems, as well as many other conditions (see below).
Patients at this clinic need on average around three or four sessions to resolve their problem. It is unusual for problems to take any more than six sessions, and some take only one or two. This is because we spend at least half an hour with you at each session. Your chiropractor will discuss how many sessions he or she thinks you might need before you commence treatment, but please feel free to ask us what you can expect when you call us.
